The Lumity Technology Leadership Award, presented by Accenture, recognizes Erie Family Health Center for the innovative technology they used in their Electronic Health Records System. This project exemplifies the ways in which creative application of technology produces measurable, sustainable impact in the community.

Lumity and Accenture debuted the Technology Leadership Award in 2006 because we were inspired by high performance in the nonprofit sector. We saw that many organizations—some with very little resources—were using innovative technology to advance their missions.

A total of 22 nonprofits submitted applications this year, representing a wide range of causes and issues. We engaged 14 technology leaders from public, private, and academic settings to review the applications and narrow the pool to the following four finalists:

  • Corporation for Supportive Housing
  • Erie Family Health Center
  • Onward Neighborhood House
  • Thresholds

The Winner of the Technology Leadership Award receives $7,500 from Accenture and a Membership Package of services from Lumity, including a technical and financial assessment. Each of the runner-ups receive a check for $1,250.

We also would like to acknowledge all of the organizations that submitted an application for the Technology Leadership Award and the judges.
