Services Offered Training Certiport Testing Information & Resources

Certiport Testing

Lumity is an Authorized Certiport Testing Center for the Microsoft Application Specialist (MCAS) and Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3) exams. Each sitting is three (3) hours, allowing for 30 minutes of practice time. You will need to have a voucher(s) before the exam can be administered, which you can get through your Community Technology Center (CTC).

Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS)

Do you use Microsoft Office 2007 as a vital part of your everyday life and work functions? Would you like to differentiate yourself from your peers? If so, you can validate your skills and prove proficiency in each of the core Microsoft Office 2007 programs — Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook — by taking the certification exams and getting your credentials. Take one. Take a few. Take them all! The cost for each exam voucher is $65 per program.

Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3)

If you have excelled in all of your digital literacy courses, or just want to show that you have the foundational computer skills needed to thrive in any environment, then you are ready to take the IC3 exam. You must pass all three exams: Computing Fundamentals, Key Applications, and Living Online in order to be certified. The cost for each exam is $30 ($90 for all three), which includes one retake per exam.

Proctor Fee

There is a $25 proctor fee per sitting (3 hours) in addition to the cost of the exam. If you obtain a voucher through your Community Technology Center, you will still be required to pay the proctor fee to Lumity prior to testing.

Fee Payment

Lumity accepts credit card payment or money orders for all exam vouchers and proctor fees. We do not accept personal checks or cash! You may pay in advance or when you come to take the test. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to testing time if you are making on site payments.
