2011 Winners Support Lumity

2012 Technology Leadership Award Summary

Lumity and Accenture are again joining together to present the 2012 Technology Leadership Award. This award will recognize and reward nonprofits demonstrating an innovative use of technology that positively impacts their organization.

This year we will present one first place and one runner-up award in each of two budget brackets: organizations with budgets over $1.5 million and those with budgets $1.5 million and under. The winner in each bracket will receive $7,500 and the runner-up will be awarded $2,500 from Accenture.


Applications

The TLA application period expired November 30, 2011. For those who applied, final candidates will be asked to make a presentation to the Technology Leadership Award judges in early 2012. The winner of the 2012 Technology Leadership Award will be presented at Lumity’s Annual Fundraising Dinner in March 2012 (date to be finalized).

Winners Will Receive:

The Technology Leadership Award Winner will receive:

  • A cash grant of $7,500 from Accenture
  • A membership package of services from Lumity, including a technical and financial assessment
  • Special recognition at Lumity’s 2012 Fundraising Dinner and on Lumity’s website

The two runner-up finalists will receive a cash grant of $2,500 from Accenture, a Lumity membership, and recognition on Lumity’s website. 


 Who Is Eligible?

The Lumity Technology Leadership Award, presented by Accenture, is open to Chicago-area nonprofits that meet the following qualifications:

  • Any 501(c)(3) charitable organization except: churches, organizations whose primary mission is to promote a religion; public schools, private schools, colleges, or universities; nonprofit hospitals, assisted living healthcare organizations, or cooperative hospital service organizations; and governmental units

Headquartered in the following locations:

  • Illinois Counties: Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, and Will
  • Indiana Counties: Lake and Porter
  • Wisconsin Counties: Kenosha 

Only one application per organization is considered.
